UGI Electric customers who apply for an appliance pickup during the month of April will be entered to win a $100 VISA® gift card. The customer who recycles the oldest fridge will win a $250 VISA® gift card.
How to participate
- Must be a residential electric customer of UGI (Luzerne & Wyoming counties)
- You must own the appliance(s)
- Refrigerators and freezers must be 10 - 30 cu. ft., plugged in, and operating (cooling) at the time of the scheduled pickup
- Limit of two refrigerators/freezers per program year
- Additionally, up to four air conditioners/dehumidifiers can be picked up per program year when recycled with a refrigerator or freezer. (Air conditioners and dehumidifiers cannot be picked up as standalone units)
- For each eligible refrigerator or freezer, customer will receive a $75 rebate. For each eligible air conditioner or dehumidifier, customer will receive a $50 rebate.
- Your rebate will be mailed to you within 6-8 weeks after the pickup of your appliance(s)
- UGI is regularly assessing the current state of affairs regarding the Covid-19 pandemic. If you prefer a no-contact, outdoor pickup, please review and fill out the form here to leave in your appliance at the time of pickup.
