How to participate
- Get $50 for a qualifying refrigerator or freezer.
- Be an Entergy New Orleans residential customer.
- Have a fully working refrigerator or freezer that would have remained operable on the electrical grid.
- Appliance must be full size (7.75 cu. ft. or greater).
- Refrigerators must be six years old or older; freezers must be four years old or older.
- Appliance must be plugged in at the time of pickup.
- The Energy Smart program reserves the right to inspect customer sites.
