How the program works
- $50 rebate check per qualifying refrigerator and/or freezer*
- Applicant must be a Anaheim Public Utilities residential electric customer
- Applicant must own the appliance
- Refrigerators and freezers must be regular household size (10-32 cubic feet)
- Only one operating unit may be recycled for the incentive. Customers may be eligible to re-apply after five (5) years if they have another refrigerator or freezer to recycle.
- Appliance must be in working (cooling) order, empty, clean and plugged in at the time of pickup
- Water line must be disconnected
- Appliance will be picked up at no charge from your Anaheim Public Utilities billing account address
- Rebate check will be mailed within six weeks after appliance pick up
