We are encountering delays in refrigerator delivery due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, you may experience a longer-than-normal wait time to receive your refrigerator. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.
LADWP is helping
residential customers enrolled in their "Low Income" and "Life Line" Programs to save energy
by replacing their old energy-hogging refrigerator with a new energy-saving unit.
To participate, you must meet the following requirements.
You must be an approved participant in the Low Income or Life Line Rate Program.
You must reside at the LADWP account address and own the appliance.
If you are a landlord, multi-family property, organization or business that
owns the appliance, please call LADWP for assistance at 1-888-388-6642.
You have not participated in the program in the past.
It must be at least 10 years old
It must be a minimum of 14 cu ft in size
It must be used as your primary refrigerator
It must be in working / cooling condition
It must be plugged into a properly grounded 3 prong outlet
